I have a complete diagram of new wiring harness included. Wiring was done right with weather proof junction boxes, inline fuses, and relays! · Description: Ok this scout is a great rig! I use it almost every weekend to drive me around the mountains. It has never given me any problems or left me stranded! I am selling due to an upcoming move out of state and can’t take it with me! I am not hiding anything on this sale, ask me any question and I will answer it! The scout does have some rust in the floor board, mostly in the rear floor area and passenger side floor. The passenger side has a patch but it could be done better! The driver side has a couple quarter size holes. The body has NO RUST! However it has its share of scratches and dings and a couple dents. (All can be seen in photos) The seats are recovered and in great shape however I DO NOT HAVE THE REAR SEAT! The dash has many switches in it for different things such as: auxiliary front and rear lights, gas gauge(changes from left tank to right tank) fuel pump, 12v plug in rear of scout, and a switch to manually turn on the low and high beams in the headlights at the same time! The motor was rebuilt about 30,000 miles ago and runs strong, I recently did a tune up on it including plugs, wires, points, fuel filter, air cleaner, distributor cap. However I swapped the carb with a stovebolt 2 barrel and I have not messed with jets or anything so it runs a little rich! I do have the original carb included as well as another weber 2 barrel for parts! The transmission and transfer case had been swapped in before I got the rig and they work great! · THE BAD: · Some rust in floors · Windshield is cracked · Original paint is faded and scratched and has seen better days · Door windows are hard to roll up sometimes (need plastic tracks replaced) · Speedometer does not work due to the transmission swap (cable is to short for the 4 speed) · Vacuum gauge in dash does not work · Transmission will slip out of third gear on occasion · Does NOT HAVE A FULL SIZE SPARE Spare Parts: · 2 Spare door glass and trim · Spare rare sportop parts such as trim, windshield to top seal · 2 spare grilles · 2 spare distributors · 3 spare intake manifolds · 2 spare axle shafts · 2 spare carbs · Spare tail gate hinges · Spare uncut Dash complete and original · Spare steering wheel · Spare heater box and parts · Spare clutch assembly · Spare gauges(multiple oil, amps and speedometers) · Tail light lenses · Headlight assemblies · Fuel sending units · Gas caps · 2 sport top transmission covers · 2 electric wiper motors · And many more small parts · I also Have a folder full of receipts and part numbers and warranty paper work.
