Up for auction is my pride and joy that i thought i would keep forever. Unfortunately hard times have forced me to have to sell my baby. This truck is in great running condition and has minimal rust compared to most. The exterior body is in great shape except for a previous re-paint that a previous owner did that is peeling off. The only rust to speak of on the exterior is on the tailgate and it is not bad. All glass is in great shape. The engine is a 318 that runs terrific. It is mated to a granny gear 4-speed that works as it should. The 4-wheel drive works good. Has locking hubs that are funtional. At one time someone must have changed the gearing as you can cruise in this truck all day long at 75 mph without the engine really working too hard. The a/c stuff is there but needs to be refurbished. I also have the p/s ram unit to re-establish power steering but it needs to be rebuilt and reinstalled. The interior is in great shape. The dashpad has a few small cracks in it but not bad overall. The dash is in great shape as is the steering wheel. Seat has been reulpholstered and newer carpet has been installed. Now the rust issue. These trucks are known for rusting on the floor section near the door openings and this truck is no exception. It is in definite repairable condition and the replacement pieces are readily available. All electrical works with the exception of the horn and a new speedo cable is needed. If you have been looking for an untrashed original powerwagon this is the one. No disappointments.
