Up for auction is my son's 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche 2WD. He is not wanting to sell it, but as a single mom, we r having some financial problems and both my son's trucks and my truck are all for sale. Ebay removed this listing earlier because I listed the title as other instead of salvage,,,but I don't understand because I have the clear title in my posession and it is NOT salvage anymore. I've been as truthful about it as I possibly can be. We have only had this vehicle for a few months and we purchased it from a used car dealer. Here is what he told us: The vehicle was stolen from a guy and had some damage to both sides but they fixed the body and re-painted the truck. Also, they replaced the interior seats with the leather ones you see in the pics. He said that because it was stolen and damaged, it was considered a salvage,,therefore a salvage title was issued. The odometer was broken, so the mileage is not absolutely guaranteed, but it should be close. I currently have a clear title on the truck and as you can see, it is no longer a salvage title. Since he has had it, the check engine light and the light about the brake system has been on, but we haven't had any problems concerning either. He drives the truck every day and has had no problems whatsoever. OH,,yes we did put a battery on it, but that's it. We have almost $21,000 invested in this truck.
