Honda 450 Rebel, CMX 450. 41,593 miles, everything works, electric start, current CA tags, great styling and reliable four-stroke power. Now the bad news: it starts and runs but it bogs a little in the low rpm range. This is very likely because the bike sat for a few years without being started and the carbs are now gunked up. It also developed an oil leak while sitting. When I first took it out of storage the leak was a small puddle after it ran. It has now gotten much worse. I suspect this is due to a seal that has dried out due to the lack of use. The battery, brakes, and front tire are new. Also Included with the purchase is a factory shop manual. Except what’s mentioned above the bike’s in good overall condition with only minor cosmetic issues such as a scrape on the headlight housing and a minor abrasion on the front fender. I included a picture showing the headlight which is the most noteable issue. The fender scrape is minor and doesn't show up in pictures. Some of the chrome has minor pitting in a few places. This has the same Harley reminiscent styling as the 250 Rebel, but the slightly larger engine and six-speed transmission make it a little more road-worthy. Honda only made the 450 Rebel in ’86 & ’87. Because of the low seating position and light weight the Rebel makes a great entry level bike. This one is my wife’s, after learning on it she moved up to a Sportster and now I need the space so the Rebel needs a new home.
