HONDA 1983 XR 500 !!NO RESERVE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OHC four stroke four valve off rod rocket. Very powerful and fast !!Disc brakes in front. I bought this bike locally here in California some time ago and have ridden it several times. It is SO fun, all that throttle response and power, but is way too much bike for my skill set. I am an on road rider and not much good at off road. The bike seems to have been cared for and the engine runs great. Brakes, clutch, motor ect all work fine. There is a slight gas leak in the bottom of the carb when first started, but this goes away in quickly and does not reappear when riding. Overall this is a great and very fun bike. Mileage is unknown, engine runs strong. The bike looks new from a few feet, when close there are scratches and defects in the paint and plastic and a dent in the rear tailpipe which is clearly visible in the photos. There will be a bill of sale for the bike as there is no title.Pick-up only because I cannot crate or deliver. I live near Bakersfield California.
