1972 Triumph Bonneville

Real nice Triumph, runns awesome and looks great too. I bought this bike last year and it is a really nice bike. The transmission shifts like a Japenense bike. I've never ridden a better shifting British bike. The engine runs great and idles at stop signs (most of the time). Idle could be set a bit higher. Paint on the bike is pretty darn good, there is a chip here or there. Tires are like new. This bike was apparently restored a few years ago and ridden very little. It went through a couple owners and the info on it has been lost. Everything on this bike is as it should be and it runs down the road awesome. The fork tubes have good chrome and must be pretty new cause most of these had worn chrome. I do notice just a slight amount of fork oil on the tubes after a few rides. The seat is in great condition but does have an indentation where the rider sits that can be felt when sitting on but not seen. Gauges and horn work but the turn signals do not. I don't know why. The gas tank has been sealed inside. The chrome is all in good shape except the rack behind the seat. Which I hope you can see in the picture. Clutch works great. This bike is done up right and it would cost a lot more than I am asking for it to make another one like it from a lesser bike. There is a lot more invested in this bike than I am asking for it. This is a great bike!
