Vehicle Detail

I have decided to sell my... 1956 Ford 2 door Customline sedan... I really don't want to, but I can't finish it, and I hate seeing it just sit there and go to ruin.. I bought this car in California about 4 years ago. I wanted to make it into a Hot Rod. It is a good, solid car with most of the original parts.. I believe this to be a numbers matching car. I believe it has the original 272, Y block V8 engine..and the original automatic transmission.. If you can't see the numbers on the VIN plate pictures, I'll give them to you now....Body 70B..Color D..Trim B..Production Code 31 A 240.. The speedometer works, but I can't guarantee its accuracy. It's a 5 figure odo, and reads 01417. The car is nice enough for me to think that it is 101 thousand. I have been able to store the car in a garage during the winters.. It runs and drives and it has been fun to drive it around town..Last month, one of the brake wheel cylinders failed and leaked out all of the brake fluid, so that will have to be fixed. The tires have about 50 to 60% tread. The windshield has a few chips and is cracked vertically near the center.. There is no glass in both doors, but all the glass and parts come with the car. The rear window and back side glass are all OK. There are some extra parts that will come with the car. 2 reconditioned exhaust manifolds. A 4 barrel intake manifold. 2 4barrel carberators. 2 electric front window kits. All the glass, gaskets, sweeps and rubbers to rebuild both front doors.. As far as rust, there appears to be very little. There is a small hole in the trunk.. A muffler sized hole above the muffler in the floor pan, and a little bit in the edges of the wheel wells.. If there is more, I couldn't find it. But don't assume anything. If you don't know, please ask. I'm selling the car AS-IS. I have sold a few cars on eBay before, so please trust my 100% feedback. I promise that I have described this car accurately.. Over all, this is a nice solid car that can be made into a GREAT Hot Rod, or restored to stock condition as a nice collectable.. The auction starts at $99. There is a low reserve, so there shouldn't be any problem finding this beauty a new home. If you want more information, email me and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. The winning bidder needs to make a $500 deposit by Paypal or a cashiers check by overnight mail within 3 days of auction end.. The balance needs to be paid by cash or cashiers check within 14 days of auction end. Shipping is the buyers responsibility. There is a budget shipper here that I can put you in touch with if you want a shipping quote. Otherwise, bring your trailer and haul it out within 2 or 3 weeks please.
