1948 Plymouth Special Deluxe, 4-door Sedan. Inline flathead 6-cylinder with the column shifted manual 3-speed transmission. Has been family owned since new. Very good condition. Nice cruiser/driver. Right at about 79,000 actual miles. All original records from many years of ownership. It has not been detailed on the underside to show that virtually nothing is hidden. Yes, just like any other original driver from the early years, there are some minimal drips occasionally. But it does not use any noticeable amount of oil, transmission fluid, brake fluid, etc., etc. The car was repainted many years ago in a 'Claret Red' with 6 coats of color & 3 clear. Very nice smooth paintwork. One minor blemish shown in the lower portion of one door. The only things we can think of that may not be operational right now is the radio because it is missing the antenna, & it is also missing the outside rearview mirror. Yes, the passenger side front window does have cracks, but it is still in one-piece & goes up/down just fine. The interior is a very nice red color with no damage that we are aware of. Starts right up & purrs right along! Fun to cruise around in & get out during the weekend or cruise-nights!
