Vehicle Detail
This is a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP "Daytona 500 Pace Car" Edition. It is only one of 2000 "Daytona 500 Pace Car" editions made for the production year of 2000. It has a 89K miles and is over all a beautifully clean car. The body and paint on the car are in excellent condition and shines up very nice. The leather interior in the car is in very good condition, as are the carpets and dash components. The car runs beautiful with no squeeks, taps or warning lights on. It is a very comfortably riding car. The tires on the car have plenty of tread on them and look fairly new. This car has power windows, a power/heated driver seat w/ lumbar, power sun roof, dual climate control (left and right), and HUD "heads up display" on the windshield which are all factory Grand Prix GTP options. This car also has some tastefull add-ons done to it. Such as LT and RT side mirrors w/ LED turn signals, an upgraded Alpine AM/FM CD player hideaway head unit with an Alpine amplifier (all steering wheel audio controls work with the upgraded system), 3 a-pillar gauge pods (battery, trans temp, and boost), a throaty aftermarket SLP exhaust, 16 in. OEM pontiac GTP wheels (which are not stock to Daytona 500 edition), and an aftermarket "Thrasher" cold air intake. This 3.8 Supercharged V6 still manages to get around 22mpg. To commemorate the 2000 Daytona 500, Pontiac introduced the Grand Prix GTP "Daytona 500 Pace Car" Edition. They built 2,000 of these vehicles which had several special features. Some of the features proved popular enough to be included on future Grand Prix models. These features include: NASCAR inspired roof rail fences (optional on later models) Two-tone leather seating with embroidered "Daytona 500" logos Small "Daytona 500" decal from the lower door to the back wheel well "One of 2000 – Daytona 500" checkered flag emblem on center console Special silver dash bezel and interior trim Stainless steel exhaust tips Special rear spoiler (optional on later models) Hood heat extractors (optional on later models) This vehicle is also for sale locally. I, as the seller, reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells outside of Ebay.
