1971 convertible bug. Project car, engine was just removed to use in another bug. This is a factory convertible, has been parked for a few years and then the top was stolen. Other than the top and engine it is a complete car. The rear bumper, top part of the back seat, a headlight ring, and one side trim are not pictured but are included. The body is in good shape except for the luggage area behind the back seat and the front apron. The floors need replacing but the rest of the chassis is solid, The lower parts of the body are original and solid. Excellent body rails(convertible stiffeners). Doors open and close well and have very good gaps. Has all glass and decent frames, windshield has a crack. All side windows open and close properly. Comes with California title and keys, Tires hold air, it rolls and steers well. E-brake is working. Haven't tired the brake pedal. Free delivery to any shipper in my area or the port of Oakland.
