I have for sale a 1960 BMW R50 motorcycle with unknown miles on the odometer. The bike is all original as far as I know. There is a tear in the seat cover as the picture will show and the reset knob on the speedometer is missing. There is a dent in the headlite and the tank is clean as the pictures will show The battery is not of original or of authentic make. The bike usually starts on the first or second. If you are familiar with the older BMW's, you know there is a process you need to go through on these vintage bikes, as they have ticklers on the carberators for chokes. The bike runs as it should and the charging lite eventually goes out after the motor gains rpm's. The bike has the Earles fork front end. It has been argued that you can't get a bike today with as good front end as the Earles fork on this bike. I also have the key for the tool box that is on the left side of the gas tank, but no tools.
