1982 Honda FT500 ASCOT

1982 HONDA FT500 ASCOT. 14,500 miles AND COUNTING. Condition.....Overall clean, unmolested, good running condition, stock machine.Brakes work, (new pads) Lights all work, Tool kit and Honda manual included. New chain and front sprocket replaced. The rear sprocket was like new so I did not replace it. The handlebars and grips are new. The bike has electric start, no kicker. Battery good. Starts every time. The bike is 29 years old and it has some cosmetic wear and tear. Tank has three dimples/dents and some clear coat fade. Plastic has scratches and front finder is the worst. Instrument gages have a scrape on the right side but does not effect operation. I just added the stock reflectors that are mounted left and right of headlight after pictures were taken.Rear master cylinder was rebuilt and valves have been adjusted. Also replaced O-ring on the tach drive gear so there are no oil leaks except for the fork seals.I acquired (in trade) this bike from the son of a Tennessee Honda mechanic. My intentions were toget my Georgia motorcycle license on it and ride it until my Moto Guzzi is running.Time to sell! Please ask any questions you have before bidding. Sold as is. No warranty.
