RickMacri Store Selling my 2001 Chevy Silverado 2500HD Duramax Diesel. The truck has been great to me for years. Runs great and everything is smooth. Maintained as it should be with regular oil changes and lubrication. Just bought a new car for my wife, need the extra money, so this truck needs to go. Was asking $10,500 locally. Dropped to $9500 for quick internet sale!! Could do a little better on price if the premium rims and mirrors are replaced with the 2nd sets (currently included in the full price). Mechanicals: -- 222k miles (mostly highway... commute was 70 miles each way) -- Brand new injector system with all new injectors done @ 180k (basically a 40k motor!!) -- New electrical system (alt, batts, starter, wires) -- Newer brakes all around -- Reg. maitenance done @ 5k intervals -- Wheel bearings strong, steering tight, trans shifts well, 4x4 working great Exterior: -- Banged up bed replaced with 2005 bed, gate, and lights (found one for $300... cheaper than repairing a single dent in the tailgate alone!!) -- 2003+ style black body side molding installed -- Custom painted hummer rims with 265 BFG All Terrain T/A KOs (avg 40-50% tread) -- Stock steel wheels also included for winter wheels -- Custom painted rear bumper to match truck -- Bumper lights replaced with black background style -- 2006 style camper mirrors -- Stock mirrors also included -- HID lights -- Roof markers (smoked) -- Smoked rear lights & 3rd brake light **Smoke removable w/acetone (no harm to lights) -- Bed liner -- Toneau leather cover (not currently installed, took off for dump runs last week) Interior: -- Complete LS interior (complete with flip down console!!) -- Seat lift kit (to sit high like the power seats do) -- Kenwood CD player -- Pioneer speakers -- Full overhead console w/map lights and compartments (found in 2001 ext. cabs) This truck has been GREAT to me and i got it for my wife to drive and has been well taken care of. Put a plow frame on it for a backup, but never used it. I know these trucks are sought after for racing/pulling and they are becoming rarer so i figured i would see the interest in it. Definitely never raced or abused, would be very reliable for a contractor or home owner.
