This auction is for a 1999 Nissan Altima GXE that I am listing for my brother. It has the 2.4L motor with auto transmission. Recently the lower timing chain guide on the tensioner side failed as you can see in the pics. The motor will need new timing chain guides, tensioner, and possible chain. The engine still ran fine when the guide failed it was just noisy as the chain was riding against the tensioner. Do not have the time or facilities to do the job as it has become more involved then expected, so this would make a great car with someone able to finish the job. The crank pulley, belt and accessories have been removed to make room for timing chain cover. I have all the parts, and bolts that were removed. The car is in very good condition for it's age/mileage with only a few minor scratches and dings. The interior as you can see in the pics is very nice. New 80,000 mile Michelin Harmony tires were put on front and back about 2000 miles ago so are still like new. Car is sold as is. This car comes with a clear title.
