1971 Buick Skylark Convertible NO RESERVE You are bidding on a 1971 Buick Skylark Convertible. THIS IS NOT A SHOW CAR OR A PERFECT CAR, IT IS SOLID AND A GREAT CAR TO JUST DRIVE AND HAVE FUN FOR MANY YEARS OR DO A FRAME OFF RESTORE. 350 Buick engine, turbo 350 automatic transmission with a shift kit chrips the 1-2 shift, Rochester Quadrajet carburetor, Posi rear 3.73:1 ?, disk brakes, GS Hood and air cleaner, bench seats, Kenne-Bell Buick headers, glass rear window, stock mufflers, stock GM H.E.I. distributor. Needs TLC, Needs a new convertible Top & some interior work, minor mechanicals, the automatic transmission leak. Very nice 1971 Buick. It is not a show car nor is it in showroom condition. It has not been restored however it has been maintained using original parts when available. This is a 40 year old car that starts every time regardless of weather conditions. Runs great! Stops well! Ft. Disk brakes. All tires show good tread. Paint is not original however it is an older repair. It was professionally done 25 years ago and there are a few imperfections from normal usage. YES, THERE IS BONDO, HOW MUCH I DON'T KNOW. NO trunk or floor rust holes. The interior is original. All the glass is good with no cracks or chips. All windows open and close properly as does the top. Door locks work properly, too... All lights work. I have a clear PA title on the car. It is currently tagged as antique and insured and driven often getting compliments from young and old alike! Floor, Frame and trunk are all solid, some rust spots here and there, I would love to restore this Skylark, but I need to pay my bills. The floor and trunk 100% original, no repairs ever. Please don't come and expect a show car, it was my Mothers daily driver before she gave it to me in the mid 80s. I drove it for several years as my daily driver. Runs strong!! mileage, 85,000 + Has a new high torque starter, heat shield and new Delco battery. Clean PA title Driven with a PA antique Tag and insured. .
