This is a Chevy El Camino Royal Knight Replica. I have just over 800 miles on the rebuilt motor and tranny. The vin, motor and chassis are from 1985, the front clip is from 1982 (I preferred the single headlight). This was not a frame off restoration. I will list below things I have done or had done (all of these things can be backed up by the receipts that I have kept throughout the process). Rebuilt 305 .030 bore X .010 crankshaft (complete short block assembly) Reconditioned original cylinder heads New edelbrock street and strip 4 barrel carb with matching aluminum intake I converted the transmission to the 700 R4 (replaced the turbo 350) Heavy duty radiator with flex fan Complete interior redo including carpet, seats, dash cap, repainting interior trim pieces, retro sound stereo with usb and aux. inputs, 6 new speakers including dash, door, and subs with boxes, amplifier, rear compartment carpet and curtain, new door panels with armrests. The paint job was done in Aug. 2009 All the door weatherstripping has been replaced New chrome trim piece across tailgate (hard to find) Brand new rear chrome bumper Tires are brand new this month I also have complete front and rear suspension bushing kits that I have not installed. I also have some of the original sales materials and original owners manual. From the pictures you can tell that the bed is the part of the car that needs some attention. The chrome around the bed has some dings. This is not a show quality car but is an excellent weekend driver. The reserve is set as low as I can go. As with all restoration projects the car owes me double the reserve price. I am selling this to begin on the next project. Serious buyers please contact me if you have any questions.
