1957 PLYMOUTH PLAZA CLUB SEDAN LOW RESERVE – PRICED TO SELL This is an amazingly clean, very well done previous restoration of the highly desirable and hard–to–find 1957 Plymouth. This classic is from the Plaza series with optional trim package and correct stainless steel wheel covers. She starts up, runs and drives perfectly. Everything, and that means everything, that should work does. This car is mechanically perfect in every way. The interior is unbelievable! The undercarriage, floor pans and trunk pan are rust free, damage free and totally solid. Its looks are unlike the 1956 and 1960. Undoubtedly, the 57 is sought after for being the first year for the new aggressive looks, which was evident in only the 57, 58, and 59 models. Some will ask if the car could make a long distance road trip. My answer is a resounding “yes”. I would drive this car anywhere, even coast-to-coast here in the U.S. with no hesitation. THIS CLASSIC ISN’T A TRAILER QUEEN, NOR IS IT PERFECT. REMEMBER THIS IS A 54 YEAR OLD CAR, BUT YOU WOULD NEVER KNOW BY LOOKING AT IT. IT SHOWS THAT IT WAS WELL CARED FOR BUT IT WAS ALSO DRIVEN AND ENJOYED. Upon close inspection you’ll find a wiper blade scuff in the windshield that can be buffed out and see that there were some paint imperfections that have been touched up over time. Something tapped the driver’s front quarter panel just above the wheel. There are a few small areas way down on the rocker panel where the paint is starting to bubble slightly and there is an area on the wheel well lip rear quarter passenger side where the paint is cracked. The rear bumper has a dent and the front bumper has two small dents. THERE IS NO REASON WHY YOU COULDN’T TAKE THIS EXCELLENT EXAMPLE OF AMERICAN STYLE AND INGENUITY TO ANY LOCAL OR REGIONAL CAR SHOW AND SHOW IT WITH PRIDE, NOT TO MENTION THAT YOU WOULD MOST LIKELY BE THE ONLY ONE THERE WITH A 1957 PLYMOUTH 2 DOOR AS NICE AS THIS ONE.
