SPRING IS HERE & ITS TIME TO RIDE! You will look great on this Mauve colored bike. Ride in comfort! This BMW is loaded with what you want. Kelly blue book values the bike for retail at $8045, trade in at $5660 and they use 39600 Miles. I've owned Harleys, Hondas, Yamahas, Suzukis, Kawasakis, none compare. In my 30 years riding experance! It is loaded with electric windshield, trip diary (tells MPG, miles left on tank of gas, etc, etc) Fold Down Cup holder, reverse, cruise control, heated hand grips, heated seats front and rear with seperate controls, on board monitoring system, 6 pack cd player with am/fm/weather radio cassette 4 speaker stereo, volume and selection controls front and rear, has EBC Break pads (replace less than 5,000 miles ago). I have the owners manual and mantanice CD with parts list. The BMW has always been garage kept. Don't pass this one up! I will miss this bike, it has been my Baby....I know you will Enjoy it. You will ride on two almost brand new radial tires, Michelin Marthon on the front and Dunlop on the rear. Tank bag with map holder.My no-faught ins. is $75 per year (and I don't have a spotless record)I rollled my ATV last year and messed my self up so I have not riden the bike but a few times in the last 12 months and is the reason I am selling. The few times I did ride it I notice the servo asst on the breaks was intermittent. If I turned the bike off it would reset itself but then some time durning the next ride or two it would do it again. I took it to the dealer and there only answer was to replace the complete ABS system at the tune of about $2000. I beleive there is an easier fix to this problem so in the mean time I asked them to just disconnect the servo because of the intermittents of it. ( I also had the oil and filter changed at that time along with the break fluid.) The ABS works fine, just requires the same lever or foot pressure of any other heavy bike. If your not familiar with this break system there is a little servo motor that turns on when you apply break pressure to the lever or foot (both front and rear breaks work buy applying either one) and pumps the fluid so you literally can just touch one or the other with your pinky. I did do a little research and there seem to be some shops that can repair these units instead of replacing the whole thing, which is why I elected not to have it replaced. Plus I don't mind riding the bike just the way it is. You can't stop using only your pinky anymore, you'll need two or three fingers on the lever (just like and other bike) and if you add a little foot pressure too... well it's no different than a gold wing. Please come ride it. Because the servo is disconnected the break failure light is on and for some reason the speedo does not work (it did work before the servo was disconnected). The heated grips work fine but are in pretty ruff shape, torn, cracked etc. The bike has fallen over a few times so there are some scraches. The radio/cd player/cassett display is pretty foggy. No moisture on the inside, wore on the outside. Makes the display a little hard to read in bright sunlight. Other than that the bike is in great shape. Tires are at about 95%, fresh synthetic oil and filter, fresh break fluid. I replace the wind sheild a few years ago, the other one was a little scrached up. This one is a little taller and wider than the original. 40 MPG city 55 Hi-way. I'll expect $500 with in 24 hours of end of action by paypal. Full payment with in 7 days of end of aution.
