The Spanish word gallardo translates into "gallant," and from Italian into "striking". 2004 was the debut year for the Gallardo, and it was an immediate success. This Gallardo is equipped with the 520-horsepower mid-engine transversely mounted all-aluminum 40-valve 5.0 liter V10 engine, 4WD viscous traction system (all-wheel drive), and the highly desirable 6-speed “H-Box” manual transmission. The car has also been recently serviced, with all service up to date and current, and has been fitted with brand-new Bridgestone RE-960/AS Potenza tires.
