Vehicle Detail

Introduction: Spring is in the air which means its convertible season. Up for auction is a gorgeous 1972 MGB Mark III sport convertible. This car recently underwent a complete ground up restoration. The car looks and drives very well. Let's spend some time walking around this little sports car and take a closer look. Exterior: Cascading over all of the classic MGB lines is a brilliant Teal Blue finish. The paint and body are in excellent condition with absolutely NO RUST! There are a couple of small chips on the car I think I counted 3-4 that are no bigger than a pencil eraser. All of the chips have been touched up with color matched paint and are nearly undetectable. There is also a very small dent on the trunk, that could easily be removed with paintless dent removal. The chrome is in excellent shape and still has a very lustrous shine. All of the glass is original with the exception of the windshield. All of the glass is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. This car has a brand new convertible soft top and also comes with the soft parade boot cover. Interior: Open either door and step into a vintage European racer inspired interior. The new leather interior is in excellent condition with no rips, tears, or stains on any of the door panels, seats, dash, carpeting, etc etc. Everything on the interior works including all of the gauges, heater and blower, radio, interior light, on and on and on. Even the trunk courtesy light still functions like new. Under restoration this car received the following interior items: - New Carpet - New Door Panels - New genuine leather seating (smells great!) - New Convertible top - New sill plates - New Blaupunkt aftermarket CD player with 4 Speakers Mechanical: Bump the key and bring to life the 1798cc 4 cylinder. This car runs extremely well and is an absolute blast to drive. Engine fires right up and has great oil pressure (about 75psi on the dial) It doesn't run hot and can be driven all day long. The car has been upgraded to a single Weber down draft carb and intake. Other than that it is completely stock. The brakes are firm and accurate, the transmission shifts into every gear with the flick of your wrist. Clutch is tight and does not shutter or shake. The floors, trunk, and frame rails are completely rust free and incredibly solid. Details: Thank you for taking the time to walk around this very nice 1972 MGB. If you have any questions or feel I have left something out, please don't hesitate to shoot me an email or call, (502) 316-4857. Buyer is responsible for a $500 deposit within 48 hours of auction completion and the balance is due within seven days of auction's end. I reserve the right to hold the vehicle and vehicle's title until all checks clear my bank as advised by my bank. Buyer is responsible for shipping charges. I have shipped a few cars and can help when and where I can. I can usually get better rates working directly with the transport company as opposed to using a brokerage service. Please have all inspections, either in person or by professional appraisal/inspection service, done prior to auction close. I have described this vehicle to the best of my ability and knowledge. There are no warranties expressed, written, or implied. Car is sold As-is/Where-is Thanks again for looking and Happy Bidding!!!
