I have up for bids today is a 1980 Honda CX500C Motorcycle. This Bike is in Really Good Shape! Very Clean Tank inside/outside. Complete Bike is in real Nice Shape. I purchased this not to long ago. The guy I purchased it from told me it ran good but been sitting for about 3-4 years and cant get it to start now. (tank was drained when stopped riding it) I got it home and it will turn over and did fire but cant get it started. I only messed with it for about a Hour and really dont have a lot of time or knowledge on working on these. (Very Well could be something Simple) You will notice the Bike is in Very Good Shape/Clean and was well taken care of. I do not have a title for this Which a person can always get a Bonded title. The last owner told me He could not find the title or the key So I had a Key made for it. After getting the Key made and put on the Bike acts like theres no juice I dont know if I got the wire plugged into the ignition all the way or not. I know if Someone knows how to work on Bikes this would make them a Very nice Bike! Im Selling this As is to the highest Bidder The Winner is Responsible for Pick-Up. I have a Very Low Reserve!! This is a Local Pick-Up Only I live in DesMoines,Iowa Im sure this would make Someone a Nice Summer Bike. OR if Someone needed a VERY good Parts Bike I know this would be a Fantastic Deal!! Good Luck Bidding!!On Apr-23-11 at 18:35:49 PDT, seller added the following information: Ok, I did mess with the Bike tonight for about 1/2 hour, I found a Fuse Blowen. When you turn the Key on now the Lights and Signals all light up and the Bike Turns over good and tryed to start. The Carb Over Flow was dripping gas which tells me the Float is sticking some. After tapping on the side of the carb it stopped dripping. I dont have time to mess with it right now but if I get it going I will put it in the listing.On Apr-24-11 at 13:13:42 PDT, seller added the following information: Payment Expected 5 days after Auction has Ended unless futher arrangments have been made.
