This is being reposted due to the fact that a scammer hit the buy-it-now and proceeded to try to get me to ship it “while the check was in the mail”…. So for those of you who had bid and others that were watching, I’m hoping that you will still be interested. Kudos to EBAY’s customer service for their help and fraud alert though…Thank you very much!!! This is your opportunity to purchase a very well kept and super clean 1989 Ford Bronco XLT , that has been meticulously serviced and maintained. LOW mileage that just turned 100,000 miles…..that’s less than 5,000 miles a year!! Absolutely 100% stock original, never modified in any way!! Trucks this nice are getting very hard to find in this condition and few are as well kept and cared for as this one. This truck is turn-key ready including CA smog certification. I would not hesitate to drive it across country today. So feel confident you can fly in and drive it home if you don’t live here in California. Seriously, the pictures look good, but the condition of this Bronco is a 9+ out of 10 in every single way. The Exterior: Exterior is in very good condition and has clearly been garaged its entire existence – factory paint is really nice with only a few dings in the entire body, no yellowing or fogging of lights. The only notable blemish in the entire body is at the end of the rain gutter rail on the driver side. A small body flex crack has started…a normal Bronco blemish. As with any 20+ year old vehicle, there are some small chips and minor scratches in the paint, but even then you have to inspect closely to find them. The body and frame is in fantastic shape and there is ABSOLUTELY no rust. This truck has never been in an accident and has never been painted. The original paint is beautiful and shows it with a fantastic shine. Of note: · Stock rims and tires complete with factory beauty rims · Michelin X radial LT tires with avg. of 50% tread · Factory tow package with receiver hitch insert · 7-pin trailer light plug · Factory dual front shocks · Factory window tinting The Interior: The seats show very very little wear, not even the usual Bronco tear at the backrest tilt handle at the base of the driver’s seat. The carpet is exceptionally clean and in like new condition. The dash is spotless as well. The truck is equipped as follows: · A/C (Brand new – completely replaced / rebuilt / R134 conversion) · Power Windows · Power Locks · Manual shifting 4x4 with manual hubs · Pioneer CD – detachable face with a remote control · Bucket seats with center consol storage center · Aftermarket (Kelsey) trailer braking unit · Removable rear cargo mat · Newer Ford floor mats · All power options work as they should, including the Back Window. Drive train: This truck runs and drives fantastic. The suspension and steering are tight and responsive. It comes with the 5.8 (351) V-8, C-6 Automatic transmission and factory tow package option, including the must have “H9” rear axle coding for the 3.55 limited slip rear end. The truck has lots of power and runs very smooth, as a truck in this condition and low miles should. The power train doesn’t have any leaks to speak of although there is a slight detectable seep from the rear main that shows up on the inspection plate to the transmission flywheel area as you can see in one of the pics. This rear main leak may leave a drop or two every once in a while. Mentionables: · Completely new A/C system. Just replaced the compressor, manifold, high and low lines, drier, etc. and converted the system to R134 · Transmission was been rebuilt by previous owner · Full-size spare tire including the factory Bronco cover · Newer Radiator hoses Blemishes: · Minor misc paint nicks and chips · Small ding in rear tail gate · Passenger door power lock does not work. The switch operates (as it will lock and unlock the driver door), but the lock mechanism in the passenger side does not lock or unlock – it simply does not move. Door does open manually. Probably a solenoid or something small. Please note, you are bidding on a 22 year old vehicle.
