1956 Studebaker Golden Hawk This Golden Hawk was last driven in 1966 when the engine had a problem, was taken out and never put back in. We have the engine but it is torn apart but looks to be all there. The car came with the 352 V-8 Packard 275 hp and Automatic transmission. This car has sat for 45 years and shows 39,043 miles on the speedo. It's a three owner car from new. We are offering this car for sale by the third owner, who was given the car by her grand father. She's not going to restore it as she had wished, dose not have the time or money. The car came in two tone white and blue but the blue was changed to white by the dealer. The original owner ordered a all white car and was upset to see the repaint, so sold the car soon after he bought it to the now owners grand father. The brakes work but I'm sure everything need rebuilt. The windshield has a crack and needs replaced. Side glass looks good but windows need help rolling up and down. The floors and trunk pan are very solid with only miner service rust. The body is strate with no dents but dose have some rust out under the right side door and behind the air intake vents. (Please look at pictures closely.) The interior is mostly intact but needs work. No carpeting or headliner but we do have the plactic ribs for the headliner. It has the tooled-metal dash trim and all gages are in the car. All the stainless trim is with the car also and looks to be in good shape. Restore this one or turn it into a saltflats racer. The car is being sold as is, and is not a running and driveing car. You will need a car trailer or a transporter with the ability to lode with a winch. We can help with loading and can delever a reasenable distiance for gas and a little for our time. The car is being advertised localy so reserve the right to close the auction at enytime.
