1975 Triumph Trident

Up for auction is my 1975 Triumph T160 Trident Frame number: T160GK04823 and Engine Number: GK04823 making it a matching numbers original bike. The bike has 15,156 original miles on it. I have owned this Trident for many years and the last time in was on the road was the early 80’s. You can see in the pictures the last time it was licensed was in 1983. After purchasing the bike, I drained the fuel from the tank and put it in my shed and it has been sitting since. The bike did run good prior to be parked and I’m sure it will run but will need the carbs cleaned since it has been sitting so long. This Trident is in overall good original condition and would be a good example to do a restoration on as most all of the original parts are present and in good condition. The only part of this bike that is incorrect is the exhaust. It is also missing the front turn signals but is otherwise complete and in good condition. The body work is in excellent original condition. The fuel tank is slightly faded but is strait with no rust of any kind inside. I could not find one dent anywhere on the tank. The side covers are also nice originals. The front and rear fenders are in excellent condition with no visible damage of any kind. The chrome is very nice both on the fenders and the headlight bucket/ears. The gauges are in excellent condition and show no signs of fading and would be acceptable for a restored bike. The tires appear to be the originals or period correct replacements. The handlebars are straight and the chrome is very nice. The seat is a very nice original with a solid pan and only a very small tear that could easily be repaired near the back of the seat. The engine turns over with good compression. The bike is overall very clean and has not been modified or molested in any way and would be an ideal restoration candidate. I have a clear title for the bike as well as the original keys, original owners manual, shop service manual and the original tool kit in the original pouch. I also have a NOS oil filter that is included with the bike. My original plan was to restore this Trident but I now realize I do not have the time to give it the attention it deserves. Shipping to Europe and England should not be a problem-we can work together to get you this Trident.
