It is truly a fantastic example of this classic American sports car. It is also loaded with features, including factory options like: Glass T-Tops Power Locks Power Mirrors Power Driver's Seat Rear Defrost Two-Tone Paint This paint combination is VERY rare. Productions numbers on the two-tone cars are difficult to come by, but there were 4 different variations, and they were a far minority of colors produced - we can't find any data on how many of this particular combination were built. In addition, just 1/4 of all 1981 Corvette's were built in the new Bowling Green production facility, and this is one of them. FYI, the first Corvette produced at Bowling Green was in this color combination. It recently sold at auction for $50,000 (it had just 15 miles on it) The exterior is in excellent condition. There are no body defects, and the paint shines all around. The Autocheck is clean, showing no accidents, no floods, and no problems of any kind. Exterior features include alloy wheels an "Bow Tie" exhaust tips. The interior is also in very good condition. There are no rips, or tears in the leather seats. The carpets, dash and door panels are also in very good condition. The driver's seat has power controls. This Corvette has some nice convenience features: power windows, locks and mirrors; cold air conditioning; Tilt and telescopic wheel , Cruise control and more. Please see the "features" chart near the top of the description. An Alpine AM/FM/CD stereo has been installed in the car. The power windows, locks, mirrors and seat all work, and the A/C blows cold. The optional glass roof panels are in great shape, and the sleeves for the tops are with the car. The 5.7 liter V8 runs strong. Its rated at 190hp and 280 lb-ft of torque. It feels like more. We do not reveal reserve price amounts, so please don't ask. We prefer to see all auctions through to the end in order to get the best price for a vehicle. We are a dealer however, and all vehicles are for sale to the public. We therefore reserve the right to cancel all bids and end the auction early if the vehicle is sold. We reserve the right to cancel bids from those with excessive or net negative feed back. Payment and Fees We will add a $249 dealer prep charge to the final bid price. This is to cover the cost of vehicle cleaning, phone calls, Fed-Exing of packages and other document handling costs. If a vehicle is not picked up within 10 days of the auction close, we reserve the right to charge a reasonable storage fee. You may pay the purchase price in cash, with a cashiers or certified check or wire transfer. We do not accept credit cards for full purchase price. If you are the winner, a $500 non-refundable deposit within 48 hours of the end of the auction is sufficient to hold the car until the remainder can be sent or car is picked up (sorry, we do not accept credit cards or Paypal at this time) . If these forms of payment are not acceptable, please do not bid. Final payment is expected within five (5) days thereafter. If you are a Florida resident, you will be required to pay applicable sales tax and registration fees. If you are not a Florida resident, you will be required to register the vehicle in your home state at your own cost, including registration fees, inspection fees and sales taxes applicable to your state.
