Vehicle Detail
Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Ford Bronco 4x4 Lifted, with NP 205 gear box, 9 inch rear axle, POS. I bought this truck because I wanted the winch for my Chevy Blazer. So, now it is for sale. The truck is perfect for surfing, beach, off-road, and around town. The truck, in my opinion does not hold a candle to the Chevy Blazer. It has a tow hitch, and I would rather push my Chevy than pull it with this Bronco, but perhaps this is just me. The truck is not for the feint of heart…the transmission, I think, totally rots…It pops out of reverse, sounds like a broken blender in first…It does, however jump out of the hole extraordinarily well. The engine is said to be noisy but does not sound anywhere near as loud as my diesel Chevy. In fact, to me, the engine sounds really great. It starts up really really quickly, and like I said, the pick up on this pick up is off the chart… The front axle, which I think is a DANA 45 (not sure—I put some pics in so anyone reading this can tell me)…anyway, the front axle has locking hubs, which make a huge difference in my Chevy…so, the truck, as you can see from the pictures is dinged and scratched all around. The driver’s side door is all dented up. The engine looks small to me, and is I guess what Ford put in it, but anyone who knows, please speak up! I think the carb has been souped up, but not sure…again, please tell me if you can tell from the pics…The back looks great, which is why I took so many photos from the back…I am pretty confident that my dogs are going to miss this truck more than me! Anyway, the fact is that this is the big Bronco…I think this is the largest Bronco ever made that still has the convertible roof…I have the old roof, if you want it, you can take it away with the truck…the rear view mirror is dinged. I have no idea about smog, but it does not make any noticeable smoke, so I frankly have no doubt that it will pass CA smog tests…the tread on the wheels looks really old to me, so I would think you would want to figure tires into your bid price. The stereo has been ripped out. That is about all I know…as I said, I bought it for the winch…now I have the winch…and you can buy the truck!...email any questions. You can test drive it if you want...just email me to make arrangements…the truck is near Santa Monica, CA. I would like to get rid of this truck asap, so, make an offer and I will sell close the auction early. Thanks for looking
