Vehicle Detail
1977 INTERNATIONAL SCOUT II 4x4 PROJECT 100" wheelbase * 345 V-8 2 bbl * 3 Speed Auto * Power Disc Brakes * Power Steering * Cruise Control * Block Heater * Split Bench in front * Spare Tire Carrier & Cover * Rear Step Bumper * 3.73 Axles (I believe) with Warn Manual Hubs * Hubcaps * Body Moulding * Dual Exhaust * AM/FM Cassette * A/C I haven't driven this. It has 145,000 miles on the clock. Has good tires all around. Windshield wipers are new and are winter blades. Interior is in good condition for its age. All glass is good all around. Has seat belts in both front and rear seats. Both mufflers look to be new. Horn works. And I believe all the lights work including high beams, the license plate light is the only one that doesn't work. It has been off the road for a couple years. It was last driven in the winter of 2009. The engine runs strong and smooth, just started it a few days ago. The transmission shifts smoothly(according to the the last owner, haven't owned it very long). The brakes are weak to none at all due to they go to the floor(back has fluid but front doesn't, and not sure due to locked up wheel). The drivers side tailgate window hinge has broken off. It has been stored in my garage since December 2010 and still is and has a clear Massachusetts title. I Put a good Diehard battery in which is included with the scout and it fired up. The passenger rear wheel is currently locked up from sitting. This Scout is remarkably solid body wise, but needs mounts on the drivers side. It needs body work, Primarily front floor pan / rocker repair as well as the driver side mounts. Included in this auction but not pictured are quality replacement panels (L&R front pans and rockers). The mounts looked like an easy fab rather than buying them. A past owner attempted to patch the driver side floor and rocker but it looks like he tacked them in with a Mig without using gas. The welds didn't penetrate so they can be removed with ease. Included with the sale of the Scout are - Replacement floor pans and rocker panels. Clear Mass title Winning bidder is responsible for vehicle transportation. Payment is due in full within 7 days of auctions end. Due to its age and project status Scout is being sold with no warranty written or implied. Car is sold as is.
