1962 Impala Sport Coupe What we have up for auction this week is a super sharp Impala 2dr hardtop. I'm listing this Impala for a buddy who always has super nice collector cars. He has owned this car for about 2 years and now looking for another new toy. This Impala sets, sounds and looks awesome. There is nothing better than a black on red combo with the right stance and right set of wheels. This car has it all, power steering,power disc brakes, Vintage Air,aluminum radiator,coated aluminum intake,aluminum valve covers,billet pulleys,Edelbrock carb and Sanderson cast iron headers with flowmaster mufflers. The exhaust is 2 1/2 stainless. The wheels are new Coy's, 17x8 with low profile tires,frt. 225x50x17, rr's 255x50x17 Extreme Performance Nitto's NT 450. They really bring this 62 to the ultimate look as you can see in the photo's. The interior is new from C.A.R.S, and looks great. The paint is a high gloss black that you can see yourself in. The paint is possibly 5 to 10 years old, don't really have the correct date of application. The glass is nice and all the bright work is super on this car. He has added front and rear guards to the Impala that always adds a nice touch. It also has the dual rear antenna option. He has added some "SS" emblems to the car, but still has the regular Impala emblems that goes with the car. The car is clean top and bottom, underhood is very clean and looks nice, ready to cruise or show. The car is straight with nice fit. The trunk is clean and looks nice with the correct splatter paint. He also installed a new set of T-3 headlight bulbs for the correct look in the front. You would not be ashamed of this baby setting in your garage or at the cruise-in. It always has a crowd looking at it. The engine is a 350 vortec crate engine from what was told to him. The trans is a turbo 350 that shifts like it should. As stated early in the ad, I'm listing for a buddy and I have not driven this car, but have seen in it in person and heard it run, it sounds awesome. Don't let this sweet Impala get away, the price is below cost to replicate at this time. There is no warranty implied or given on this car, it is a 49 year old car.
