I am listing this auction to sell my 1956 CHEVROLET 3200 Step side Pickup truck. This is an ORIGINAL , MACHING NUMBERS TRUCK!! Only 21,000 ORIGINAL MILES!! Truck was Originally owned by Mr. Bussey of Pine Mountain Georgia until he passed away 20 years ago. My uncle and I purchased the truck shortly after he passed and it has been mine ever since. THE ONLY reason is am selling FAST and CHEAP is to finish paying for my wedding. I have restored 4 50-60 Model chevy’s that didn’t start anywhere near the condition of this truck so please don’t try and BS me. I have been offered money TWICE for ENTIRE FRONT CLIP, and THE front clip and CAB ($1000&$1200), I WILL NOT PART OUT, too good a truck. The Good -The truck has the Original 235CU straight Six that is COMPLETE and SOLID. -Body is in GOOD shape for its age and is 90% SOLID - INTERIOR is in very GOOD shape, Seat will need recovering or replacing due to tears on drivers side. Seat frame is NICE AND NOT RUSTED like most 60year old cars. -Window glass is NICE and perfectly useable, windows still OPERATE aka roll up and down just fine - Tires HOLD are just fine and do not leak down. -Transmission is a manual 3Speed column shift and is fine -UNDERBODY of truck has light surface rust but is VERY VERY SOLID with NO CANCER!! -Engine bay is RUST FREE - Heavy Duty 6 LUG axles. Spare Rims with it too. What Needs Attention -Motor Needs Points and Condenser to RUN. WAS RUNNING LESS THAN 7 Months ago. RAN very well. -Passenger Floor pan needs a Partial replacement, drivers side is fine. Outer Door skins have separated from the boor body at the very bottom due to the old TAC WELDS coming free, EASY FIX if you want don’t want to replace the doors. I wouldn’t the GUTS work AWESOME. The only other real body work is the flat sides of the bed will need to be patched. Also EASY it’s just flat metal. Truck has several areas with minor surface rust. -Brakes need attention, in the last few months the braking system started to leak down, I prices the FULL SYSTEM, lines-hoses-and Master Cylinder for UNDER $230. I have described the trucks flaws in DETAIL so you don’t get any surprises upon pickup. RESERVE IS SET LOW AT $1100. I will be happy with 1200-1500$. The truck is a great starting point for a resto or JUST SPEND LESS THAN 500$ AND DRIVE IT AROUND!! THE TRUCK HAS HAD SEVERAL PAINT JOBS, and THE LAST ONE WAS UGLY BROWN, THE BODY IS NOT THAT RUSTY IT IS THE UGLY PAINT!!! This body style was MORE EXPENSIVE originally than the SHORT BED, and is only 12-16 inches LONGER. Truck is in Harris County 10 Minutes from COLUMBUS GA. NO SHIPPING LOCAL PICKUP ONLY and MUST LEAVE ON A TRAILER, NO YOU CANNOT DRIVE IT 4 HOURS HOME!!
