You are bidding on a NON RUNNING 1998 Jaguar XJ8L.....Car fell victim to the plastic timing chain tensioners that were problematic for that year. And when the timing chain slipped off, it bent some valves and im not sure how many. Car is def repairable for someone who knows what they are doing as I do not. Nor do I have the funds to fix. Ive seen used motors online for as little as 2000 dollars however the usual range is 2200 to 2700. Transmission is solid with no problems since ive had the car and it never slipped or did anything that would lead me to believe there was any kind of problems with it. All power options work except for the power antenna, however it is stuck in the up position. Moon roof works and has never leaked!!!! Interior is good. Driver seat has some wear but no rips or holes. Passenger seat and back seat are in very good shape. Power windows ALL work as do the locks. Heated seats all work and get very warm...Car has a 6 disk cd changer and it operates perfectly.
