Vehicle Detail
Very strate 1946 Chevy Fleetmaster with no rust out. This car has a bit of a history. The owners when they bought the car, years ago, found Vehicle registration and canceled checks with the name Lawrence Welk on them. The Vehicle registration was from Santa Monica Calif. so they did some checking and it was the address of Lawrence Welk the big band leader. We believe that Lawrence Welk was the original owner of this car. Over the years that information has been lost, so no proof. (Good story thought.) After there perches the car was painted and new upholstery was added. Fresh tires and wheels made this car ready for cruising. A unhappy boyfriend decided to vandalise the car, so he wiped brake fluid over the car's new paint and poured it on the new seats. This ruined the car and disappointed the owner, so the car has sat for years, not to be driven until now. It's time to sale the car and let a new owner start over. This Chevy runs great and drives as it should. Rebuilt master cylinder, front wheel cylinders, new battery and the car runs again. The car is very strait and has no rust enywhare. This Chevy was originaly Black and it retains its original engine, that starts easy and runs great. The three speed transmission shifts good, the cluch fills very good and is smooth. This is a great start for someone or just have fun with car as is. All gages work except the speedo, even the heater works. (Please look at all pictures closely.) We have this Chevy for sale locally so reserve the right to pull from auction at eny time. Buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements and shipping costs.
