Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a very low mileage, well maintained Subaru Impreza L, only two owners and less than 100K miles. It has no known mechanical issues - the automatic transmission shifts smoothly, the 1.8 liter four cylinder motor runs like a top, the air conditioning is ice cold, etc. This is a comparable Japanese car to Civic, Sentra, Corolla, etc - although it definitely has some of the features that the Subaru fans love, such as the flat four ("boxer") engine. Domestic cars that this would compare to are the Festiva, Focus, Cobalt, Cruze, or Neon. Perhaps best of all, It gets great gas mileage (EPA 25 city / 31 highway); especially for an automatic - and we did marginally better than that. It came with the "preferred options" package, including remote mirrors (both), power windows, air conditioning, and cruise control. The only "aftermarket" accessory on this particular car is a nice Alpine CD player with MP3 input that was professionally installed. It is certainly not a brand new car; there are some rock chips across the front bumper and leading edge of the hood - but look at the interior pictures. This is a well cared for, female owned car. The tires and brakes are in good shape and won't need attention for some time. It doesn't leak (or burn) a drop of oil to my knowledge; and it has always started up first turn. The only items I remember replacing are the battery (Sears) and the muffler that developed a hole, so we replaced the whole system at Meineke with thier upgraded stainless one (which still looks new several years later). Now, for the bad - it was involved in a parking lot incident with another vehicle backing out into it. There is a dent in the front quarter panel, but it doesn't affect driving, steering, or the operation of the door. You could try to fix it, or just drive it the way it is. The hubcaps show some scratches; but since it's only 13" wheels, you could get some new ones at Pep Boys for a few bucks if looks were important to you. I am going to replace the marker light on the front quarter panel to make the dent less obvious before the car is sold. This is an absolute, NO RESERVE auction, starting bid one cent : the way eBay is supposed to work. Be advised, eBay is not a game, bidding is a legal and binding contract to purchase. However, to prove that I am not trying to hide anything and that this is a very reliable car, I am willing to drive this car up to 100 miles from Charleston, SC to meet you, once payment is secured. The car is available for viewing and even a test drive in Mount Pleasant, SC by calling or texting Steve at (843) 566 3625. I can take additional pictures of anything you'd like if you are serious, just ask - but PLEASE, read the whole description again before you ask a question that has already been addressed here. Thank you and good luck!
