For sale is our 2009 Volkswagen Tiguan SEL. My wife has been the primary driver. The engine is lively and the handling is superb. The cabin is very quiet on the road. The premium audio system is especially satisfying to listen to. The navigation sytem is far superior to after-market GPS units. The size of this SUV makes for easy parking and maneuvering. The exterior color is "white gold metallic", which appears as silver with a gold tone; the exterior color was a hard-to-get choice at the time of our purchase. Also included is a receiver-type factory trailer hitch. Since I would not be using it, I removed the hitch (4 bolts) and lower bumper cover which has a cut-out for the hitch, and installed a smooth lower bumper cover. The unused trailer hitch and matching bumper cover is included with this vehicle. The original carpeted floor mat set is unused and included with this sale, as well as VW factory rubber floor mats and a carpeted rear cargo mat. The audio system includes a jack and cable for an ipod. The headlamp system includes turning lamps, which is typically a luxury vehicle amenity. The design, fit and finish, materials, audio system, and luxury features of this vehicle make it easy to enter and exit, fun to drive, and a very comfortable cabin to spend time in! Also available at extra cost is an additional set of alloy wheels and tires. These are new Tiguan take-offs that I purchased from a Volkswagen dealer (see photos). The Tiguan tire/wheel package was used for about 500 miles before the owner upgraded to larger wheels. I expect to receive around $1100 for the like-new wheel/tire package.
