I'm selling my 97 Grand Cherokee. There is a long list of upgrades. All in the search for offroad fun. This jeep was built for offroad use, But was licensed and insured for certain events that required that. Last year i painted the jeep Marine Corp lusterless forest green for easy touch ups. I have extra paint and can give you the place to order more if you wish.I removed the interior and applied bed liner to the intire floor area. drain holes where drilled for easy clean-up. It has a Rusty's long arm suspension. It started with the 5.5in coils so that i could run 33's. Since then i have upgraded to 7.5in coils from Claytons Offroad and i doubled the stock spacers so you have 8in of total lift. So it should clear 36in tires. At this time it has 33x13.50 15 Toyo Open County MT's. Have all 5 so you have a matching spare. Mounted on American Racing rims. It has a Flow Master Muffler. Sounds real good. The jeep has high miles, But runs very strong. Has a K&N air filter. Optima red top battery. A/C delete pulley. New starter and rear hatch pistons. Rockrails. Fan was replaced with a electric fan. Thats wired to a swith inside so you can turn it off when crossing deep water. This also allows you to run the fan with the engine shut off. The front axle is a dana 30 fitted with Superior alloy axle shafts and a ARB air locker and a Warn diff cover. The rear is a dana 44a with Yukon alloy axle shafts and a aussie locker. The 249 transfer case was replaced with a 242 transfer case. This gives you the option of 2 wheel drive.The center console was changed so the marking would be proper for the new transfer case. Front winch bumper was custom built by OverKill Offroad. The ARB compressor is mounted on a custom stand that is mounted on the passenger inside wheel well. To keep safe from any water damage. There is good video's of this jeep in action on you tube. Just put in "deep mud hole at the cliffs insane terrian". Hate to sell, But have a 05 rubi that i'm starting to build.
