We're selling our 2001 Volkswagen New Beetle, GLS, 1.8T, Auto. We've owned this car from 8,586 miles and it has been great to us. Since then it's been dealer maintained and I have almost all the receipts for verification. The car is ready to go mechanically and drives great, starts right up, doesn't make any funny noises and isn't a slouch in traffic either. No check engine lights or anything like that. (The blue light in the pictures is simply to alert you that the engine is not up to operating temperature yet.) Now with most used cars there are some flaws that I'll be sure to mention, they are cosmetic and don't impact reliability in any way.-There is a scuff/scratch on the passenger side of the front bumper from a curb (You can see in pictures.)-The VW logos on the wheel caps randomly decided to become detached.-The passenger door has a shallow dent that I'm just about certain came from a loose shopping cart.-Some of the interior plastics should be replaced, a few are loose from wear and tear. Option wise the car has heated seats that work just great, a power moon roof, fog lights, power windows, power mirrors, power door locks, keyless entry, A/C, P/S, Security (OEM). Everything works. She's been in two minor accidents, no air bag deployment or any serious damage at all. I encourage anyone to check out the undercarriage and body to determine this for themselves, just for peace of mind.
