1969 Ford F-100, SWB, 240ci 6 cylinder, 3 speed. Miles are unknown shows 4379. Probably 204379. Was daily driver until July 2010. Starts and runs good. Body solid. Doors shut good. Rockers, cab corners and supports solid. Glass good. Minimial easily repairable rust on bottom of front fenders. Some surface rust from worn out paint. Has had one repaint long ago but paint is now in poor condition. some pitting on trim. Dash pad good. Seat has been recovered at one point but shows wear on drivers side. Box does have some rust and does have some old rust repair. probably done at time of repaint. Tailgate solid and operates good. Box should be a fairly easy repair and not require any panel replacement. Truck steering appears in good operating condition. Steers good and shows no abnormal tire wear. State inspections kept up until I quit driving it. Engine starts easy and sounds good but does need a rebuild. Will burn oil if driven any distance at speed. Has blow-by. Fairly fresh alternator, regulator, starter, distributer, carburator and water pump. 3 speed transmission, clutch and rear axel operate fine with no unusual noises. Driveshaft has been rebalanced and has new u-joints. Transmission linkage is very worn and must be shifted with care. A new shift tube and shift collar are included but not installed. Brakes work good but a new emergency brake cable is needed. Rear brakes will need work. Rear wheel seals and rear wheel cylinders seep fluid. Tires look good but are about 8 years old. This truck as far as I can determine has spent its whole life in this area. I have had it for about 10 years and believe that I am the fourth owner. I always wanted to restore it when I retired but I know now that I will never get it done so I would like to sell it to someone who will. Please fell free to ask any question.
