2005 MUSTANG SALEEN S281SC SUPERSHAKER˜RARE˜550HP˜ HELLO AND WELCOME TO MY AUCTION: I am very proud to present one of teh most sought after high performance sport coupes on the planet, a geniune collectror's item and simply a true piece of Amercan Racing history this 2005 Mustang SALEEN S281 SC Supershaker vehicle #836. This limited production 1 out of 5 made with this equipment and color combination this SALEEN S281 SC is a remarkable example of renowned SALEEN performance and legendary American muscle engineering. A little bit of background,-"Saleen manufactured limited edition, high-performance vehicles. Saleen was an automotive original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and was the last American small car manufacturer bearing OEM status. Unlike aftermarket "tuner" companies, Saleen was subject to the same federal regulations governing design and testing of their automotive products as larger vehicle manufacturers such as Ford, General Motors, or Toyota. Most of Saleen's vehicles were highly modified versions of existing mass produced sports cars such as the Ford Mustang. Saleen's flagship car was the Saleen S7, introduced in 2000. The S7 is a mid-engine, high-performance sports car that was initially priced at just under US$400,000. The S7 won four different GT championships in 2001 and has broken records at the prestigious 24-Hour Le Mans race. The S7 was Saleen's only production car not based on an existing design or chassis. Of course on the other side of the spectrum S281 line-up simply became the flagship of SALEEN line with incredible performance and unsurpassed aerodynamics with most technology borrowed from the sister S7 concept. This 2005 S281 SC Supershaker is an absolutely incredible example of SALEEN's incredible engineering and amazing exterior and interior design. This S281 is finished in Black with SALEEN Black leather interior. The exterior of this SALEEN is in absolutely mint condition all the way around and the paint is super-glossy and sharp as it has always been pampered and babied and spent most of its life in a climate control garage in Las Vegas as part of a car collection. Other times it traveled for shows and expos. Never driven in the rain, abused or neglected in any way, this Mustang has had the best possible care to wish for. There are no dings or small dents or any other imperfections on the body, the exterior looks fantastic in every way. The front facia has received a Parnelli Jones OEM SALEEN all allumiun lightweight hood back in 2007 in Troy to fit the Supershaker set-up and replace the problematic original fiberglass hood that trembles and does not perform up to specs. Also to retain original S281 aestetics the hood was fitted with the orginal OEM SALEEn hood vents that are fully functional for cooling purposes with alumium air pockets under the bottom of the hood. The exterior also has had minor upgrades such as Ford OEM hood fully functioning hood locks, chrom mirror covers. Ford Quarter panels louvres and quarter window louvres along with an extremely rare saleen prototype roof spoiler all color coded to OEM Ford paint coat. This is probably the best looking OEM Saleen on the road and receives compliments every time. The vehicle comes with two seats of Xenon headlight system that has a SALEEN factory HID system with tinted glass for shows and expos and a CCFL Halo set clear for legal purposes that is used for city driving. Also a prototype lower SALEEN grille kit has been added for the lower opening of the bumper with SALEEN badging. Overall, the exterior is simply breathtaking in every way. The car sits on SALEEN 20 inch wheels wrapped in brand new performance tires with a staggered set-up with rear tires fitted and tucked perfectly. The rear tires are 305/35/20 to get the most grip out of every surface. The interior is phenomenal, fully upgraded SALEEN interior will satisfy even the most skeptical driver, as this interior is on the level of most EXOTIC limited production cars. This interior is NON-SMOKER and is in showroom conditon and always has been kept as such. The carpet mats have been upgraded to higer quality SALEEN OEM mats. The car has a Push-Start button integrated and received a digital Touch-Screen GPS/DVD/CD/Bluetooth system also integrated to work with an incredible MACH500 system, a factory unit with 6CD is also available. Multiple billet items have been added to complement the interior and overall it looks incredible and new. Of course, to describe what lies at heart of this incredible machine I will not have enough space but will try to summarize it in a few words. A 3-valve all forged 281cc monster with a factory SALEEN Twin Screw Supercharger rated at up to 12lbs of boost with whooping 550HP and a free-breathing Supershaker set-up will blow you away. Along with oversized injectors, Kenne Bell fuel managment, the most expensive Kooks long tube headers on the market and of course 3-chamber Flowmaster exhaust system integrated with the factory OEM center piece exhaust provides incredible performance, sound and the most fun limited production coupe that is a pride and joy ot own. The vehicle has two set-ups programeed for a street comfortable set-up at 8lbs of boost and 12lbs more aggressive set-up for a nice track day. Belts and pulleys will be provided for both. City driving is extremely pleasant and fun. Incredible handling along with a full RACECRAFT suspension launches this SALEEN above any competition. This is a CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED Saleen with extended warranty up- to 100k miles which will be transferable to the next lucky owner.
