Vehicle Detail
For sale a 2002 Triumph Trophy 1200. I bought the bike a few years back when it had 12k miles. It's been parked it in a garage for the past couple of years. Started it up this past December without any problem. Fast bike with tons of torque! Lots of positive comments from other riders. Very comfortable on long trips. Mechanically it was awesome. Never had a problem. I no longer live in the USA, otherwise I'd keep it. It's a big motorcycle for the price. Overall in good condition. Damages: Some minor scratches on the paint, cosmetic surface rust on some bolts shown in photos, minor tear on Corbin seat shown in photo, clutch foot peg rubber torn. Hopefully the photos show any damages clearly. I feel confident saying that any damages are minor and cosmetic. Needs tires, inspection and could do with a tune-up. Before storing it was serviced with major fluid changes such as new oil, brake, clutch and radiator fluids. Removable, after-market heated grips added by previous owner. A bit bulky, but a real bonus on cold rides. As far as I know the bike has never been down. All questions welcome, please send me a message. I'm arriving back in the USA in a few days. Bike stored at my grandfather's. Starting this auction a few days before my arrival. Title transfer available on site, license plates NOT available on site. Thank you very much for looking! Again, any questions please feel free to ask. On Apr-02-11 at 14:54:17 PDT, seller added the following information: Saturday, April 2. Hi All, Just a quick update as to starting status. I tried starting the bike this morning but there wasn't quite enough juice in the battery to crank the starter fast enough. Trickle charged the battery for three hours and the bike started right up. Motor sounds lovely!
