These are truly classic bikes. I believe the VT 500 was only made for two years. The motor was the beginning of a long line of V-Twins for honda .These bikes were years ahead of thier time. This bike has shaft drive, liquid cooling, very cool V-Twin motor all lights and signals work. This bike looks and runs perfect, has never failed to start On a scale of 1 to 10 I'd give it an 8. No dissapointments with this one. Some minor scratches and dings associated with a bike thats 27 years old. Perfect restoration bike, or ride as is for a really long time lots of miles left in this one. Great commuter, or starter bike, light and easy to ride. Good bike for shorter riders although my 6' 5" son spent a lot of time on it. Action may end early for sale locally. Thanks for looking.
