Vehicle Detail

For Sale is this VERY unique and rare Dodge Dakota Convertible. For those of you who have never seen one, it is a rare item. It is a two wheel drive V-6 automatic with CD, 2wd, A/C, and more. The truck runs good and is a lot of fun to run around at the beach. The truck was repainted a few years ago and has an almost new top, , Sony CD stereo, and in the past few months has had, new plugs, valve cover gaskets, new windshield, new bed liner, strarter sloenoid, new brake shoes and rotors turned, and some repairs to the body. The truck looks good but it does have some rust on the rockers and the floor of the cab, but the leak that caused the rust is now fixed. The truck is very reliable but is in no way mint condition, but you can drive it anywhere today, I drive it everyday to work approx 30 miles per day, everything works except the A/C and who needs that in a convertible! For more info or to come take a look and make me an offer TEXT me or call me at 843-333-4250 I rarely use the email so text me or call and leave a message! That's the short version, now let me get into it....I have known this truck for many years, it belonged to my boss and he drove it back and forth to work here in Myrtle Beach for past five years, I have been doing the same for past 4 months. I think it came from Tenn. but not sure. It has been here in SC for like 6 years??? Anyways, the truck got a decent paint job 4 years ago but they really didn't take care of some of the dings and rust. The good thing is that it does not have bondo or glass in it, but it does have some issues...the front lower fenders are crusty, the rockers are in rough shape, you can see them in the pictures. The bed is incredibly good shape and the bed liner is brand new. I really dont think it has ever really been used to haul much. The worst issue with the rust is around the privers floor and front cab corner, unfortunately it had a leak for years that let water run down to the corner of the cab, and it got rusty. The frames is rock solid, this is not salt rust, it is from a leak. This area has been repaired quite nicely, but in the old time way, as in metal welded in and riveted to repair the floor and a new, sturdy cab mount was installed to repair the area. I don't want to scare anyone, I believe the repair will last for years, but I also want to be clear that ultimatley it should have a new floor pan and cab corner. The wheels are def. showing some age, they are chrome, but they have had a little chrome touch up paint to freshen them up a bit, but they are rock solid, just had surface rust. The tires are almost new, you might notice the rears are a size bigger just to give it a little stronger stance. The A/C is not hooked up, I figure it would take a good couple of hundred bucks to get it in shape, but it does have fact. A/C and the heat, defrost, fans, etc all work great. The heater will burn you out it works so good. The truck has some squeaks and rattles, but it runs like a champ! The truck is not one that has ever been just sitting, over the years it has endless misc. maintenance, but it is a used car, not a restored show truck. For the record, it is not perfect, but as far as dropping the top and cruising Ocean Boulevard at the beach, she stands tall and shines, and has enough pep to lay a little rubber should you be in the mood. People compliment and stare all the time, heck I even had it at the Myrtle Beach Car show and it was turning heads. Payment must be made in cash or by other terms agreed upon prior to sale. The vehicle is pick up only, in Myrtle Beach S.C. Non-refundable deposit of $500 must be made within 24 hours of sale via Paypal or other agreed upon terms. If you are shipping it, I will do what I can to help. Payment in full must be made within 72 hours (3 business days ) of the close of sale unless otherwise agreed upon by both seller and buyer.
