Full description follows pictures below. THINGS HAVE CHANGED - HAD A GUY COME OUT AND LOOK AT IT AND TELL ME THE FRONT AXLE IS RUSTED SO THIS CAR WILL NOT BE GOING ON THE ROAD - THE ENGINE IS GOOD, FIRES UP FINE AND RUNS. SO YOU GET ONE WORKING ENGINE WITH AN OLD BODY ATTACHED, AND ALL THESE PARTS SHOWN, INCLUDING ANOTHER ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION. FIRST BID GETS IT ALL, COME HAUL IT AWAY (Rainy day) 2 roof racks, one on top of the other, one just placed on top Homemade tools, levers, templates for VW VW made of China or pottery and painted to match. One engine, 3 different picture angles, not 3 engines. Use BIN and I'll throw in a bubble wheel balancer. I just advertised it in the Balt/DC Area, so SUBJECT TO LOCAL SALE - the auction may be withdrawn if sold locally. 1974 VW Beetle and Parts Lot. This came from a older friend of mine, and then I bought it all from his son and the estate. This older man was a scientist who had a few VW beetles and keep many, many spare parts for the cars and worked on them himself. He was an inventor, and "invented" a few tools for working the VW that are included. The amount of parts is staggering. If you are familiar with a Toyota 4runner SUV, with the rear seats folded down, this parts lot is about 2 and a half full loads, packed to the brim. You have to take everything. The car RUNS and FIRES UP fine, but the front brakes leak at the moment, so the brakes need work. Slight rusting of the outside of the car at edges. Floorboards look good. I am not a used car seller so bear with me. Some parts not shown, but maybe 85-90% are shown in photos, so you get a little extra. Did not feel like emptying all boxes out. Many NOS parts. More used parts. I know a nice speedometer, radio, books, spare pad set, etc are not shown above but included. This vehicle was keep under a roof, but was outside for the last 2 months. The gentleman put putty around where the fenders meet the body rather crudely. Pass. door does not open for me. All glass good. Dry interior. Needs a good bit of work overall even if it does currently run if you want it to look good on the road, as in major/minor restoration, as it looks to me, but again, not a car seller, and I've never owned a VW. Fond memories of an old girlfriend with one.... Kind of dirty interior. Pictures look better of the car than up close. Was not used for 2 years. A couple caddy marked parts (accidently) included that were his. A few custom made tools just for VW's, like a Carb holder tool, and a lifter press tool. From lifters, to a steering wheel, to a bumper, to numerous electrical parts, dash parts, lights, mounting plates, books, wires, engine parts, rebuilt carbs in box, gaskets, fabric, seat material, the list goes on and on and on. You get it all. Will not separate. Not holding any back. Rear seat included. For all shown above as a lot, parts and car.
