I am posting this auction to sell my 1986 Factory H.O F-150. The truck has a BRAND NEW factory replacement 351w H.O motor with LESS THAN 400 MILES.The 750 Holey carb was also bought brand new with motor. Everything was professionally installed at COOKS Automotive in Pine Mountain Ga. The Truck also has a Fresh HOUSE OF KOLOR paint job!! OVER 4k in paint. House of Kolor SHIMRIN BLACK with Silver Metallic Pearl on top of House of Kolor Pearl White Base. Truck has Factory aftermarket STEEL bumpers, Phantom inner grill, and holeshot wheels. Tires are decent, 60+ percent tread. Interior is Nice, has a few dash cracks and seat is slightly faded, but overall really nice for an 86. THE BAD About 2 Months after paying 6 grand for motor and install the TRANSMISSION lost all high gears. It was driven around the house after for a while, and has not been driven in 6-7 months. I priced a REBUILT C6 TRANS FOR 350$$. The FORD C6 is one of the most COMMON and CHEAPEST transmissions, BUT are known for BEING STURDY.. I started to pull the transmission myself and gave up after pulling the trans bolts and starter. It cannot be driven home and MUST LEAVE ON A TRAILER!! THE ONLY REASON I AM SELLING IS DUE TO MY WEDDING!! I have 2 months till my wedding and truck must go to finish paying for honeymoon. I HAVE OVER 8,000 in truck and would NOT sell otherwise. This is a chance to pick up a CLEAN Truck for cheap, and with a small investment, UNDER 400$ if you can turn a wrench or 800$ if YOU cant, YOU can have a BUILT and BEAUTIFUL Daily Driver CHEAP. Truck is in Harris County Ga., about 15min from Columbus and 1.5hrs from Atlanta. VERY, VERY FEW F-150’s came with the 351w High Output engine package(Commonly mistaken as 351 Cleveland)!! The trucks with the H.O engine package were sold between 1982-1986 in very limited numbers, and are hard to find, and very desirable. The H.O package is the 351W with Factory performance Heads, Factory high performance intake, Factory 750 Holley 4brl Carb, and factory dual exhaust. These engines are a favorite among ford builders and racers because of their sturdiness and are an excellent platform for high horse power applications.
