1974 Ford Pinto Squire woody wagon NO RESERVE bid it to win it ! dont regret you didnt later ! Runs and drives nice for its age . LOW 67xxxx documented miles A true un restored Rust FREE AZ WAGON Original 2.3L 4cyl matted to a 4 spd manual trans A/C all seems to be there and connected, just not been used for several years. Original white paint outside w/ blue vinyl inside. 48xxxx original documented miles on AZ title. This car was parked years ago and only driven a few times a month. We cleaned it up, put in new oil and cap & rotor and with fresh gas, it fired right up ! I think the plug wires are the original Motorcrafts Tires are old, need new ones asap. ZERO RUST on the body or frame etc. (other then surface) Interior not that bad, showing some signs of age. New carpet would be a good start, but its very original except for the radio. Motor could use tune up but its again very unmolested and original. If you pulled up the carpet, youd probably find the build sheet. Pump the gas a few times, hit the key and the car fires up. Not sure if the choke is working, it idles rough when cold but once warmed up a little, its ready to go. With a tune up and carb rebuild and new tires, it could be a daily driver easily. Brakes and suspension feel good, yet soft. Original paint says : no previous hidden damage ! Its been a weekend only driver off and on the last 20 yrs. NO reserve (recently lost the original keys, still looking for them) Had a new ignition key made to drive it around. Interior: nice driver but showing its age in some areas. FOLD DOWN BACK SEAT nice, some of the plastics showing its age from the AZ heat. Still fun to drive around in and to local Cruze Nites. Would be an easy restoration. Drive around as is or restore it to its original glory, or somewhere in between. Car is super solid, doors etc all close well and tight for their age What you will see in the pics below is: Ive been all over and Under the car, and have pics to below to prove our claims. I can get a repro vinyl wood kit to do both sides of the car for $600 !! With 3 different types of wood available ! Most of these cars were run into the ground and really USED up as you might expect them to be. This car flew under the wire and is stock as a rock. They are only original ONCE. Anyone can throw shiney paint and a bunch of off the shelf aftermarket parts on a car and say its "restored" But the value for your $ doesnt make worth buying. Early Muscle cars like this restored back to the way it came off the showroom, have higher Values hands down. A VERY RARE AND HARD TO FIND 70s Wagon Car An ERA alot of us remember like it was just yesterday. MAYBE drop a Turbo 2.3L in it and 5 spd out of a Turbo Coupe! This is a great car to restore 100% and would do so nicely. It is an example of a era long gone. Remember: they arent making anymore :) Built in CA, and has been in Az its whole life. Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain. The more you go over this car, the cooler it gets ! Original white paint, very dull and flat, but no bondo ! Easily the best way to buy a car long distance, this is the Pinto you want !
