1996 BMW R-Series

This is a truly less than perfect R1100RA. I am the third owner of this bike. I bought it in July 2007. The optional tachometer and clock are on this one, as well as the ABS. A scan has proven that the front wheel sensor in malfunctioning rendering the ABS inoperable. The speedometer is also not operational. The cable and speedometer unit have been replaced, that leaves just the front wheel sensor as the culprit. This bike has a Mayer seat and I have the original set. You also get two oil filters, the filter wrench, and the Clymer manual. There is a partial service record and all the original manuals. The BMW hard bags have a bag liner for the right side. The Bridgestone BT023's have better than 60% tread. The headlight bulb was just replaced today. I have done the anual valve adjustment and put Castrol Syntec in the crank case. The air filter is a low maintenance K&N. What you see is what you get, winner will need to pick up the bike in person. I highly recomend riding it home, makes the whole experience more fun. I almost forgot, the rear shock is a Fox unit adjustable for preload and rebound. There are also the mounts for the tach and clock to run w/o the windshield.
