1949 5 window ½ ton 3100 Chevy truck with short bed. Truck is in excellent condition and is 100% original to include paint color, original leather front seat, original inner door panels, glass, 216 engine and trans, etc. Engine does not leak oil, does not smoke. Repainted years ago in original Chevy forest green that was the original paint color for this truck. There is some paint sag near door handle on passenger side but did not run. The engine compartment has the original green paint in good shape. There is no rust on this truck except for very light surface on frame and more in rear original bumper. Under floor mat is original paint with no rust. Truck has original grill with original paint and chrome in good condition. Body paint is in great shape with no chips etc. Floor mat is new. Truck has not been washed in months as you can see. Front seat has 3” tear in leather that has not increased in size in years. As you can see, the paint has chipped on driver side exterior running board. Truck starts up immediately even after sitting for weeks. Brakes stop very well. Suspension is great…no creaks or noise when going over bumps etc. Body is excellent and all doors shut and open easily…all gaps between doors and hood are excellent. Windows operate well. Dash has been repainted in original Chevy grey and all gauges, lights, heater etc. all work well…included is a spare set of original gauges. Truck runs and drives well and does not overheat. All tires are new to include spare. I believe only remake parts are the wheel covers and mat. Truck is original wiring and 6 volt system that works well. Truck bed is in excellent condition to include bed wood and tail gate. I have used truck as a light truck to do yard work etc. and the bed has a few scratches incurred over the years. Windshield has light scratch on driver’s side caused by wiper blade. No trades...thanks. He was given the truck by the original owner who had a ranch next door to his. My friend had the truck painted and all new brakes and placed remake bumpers, front grill, door panels and interior handles. Fortunately, he had kept all original stuff which was in excellent condition...so the only thing I have done to this truck was to reinstall original parts.
