The Jeep is in very good condition. Front fenders and hood are fiberglass. Body tub is in good shape although the paint is beginning to 'bubble' a bit around the Jeep logo in front of the passenger door (about a 4" x 4" section shown in picture). Not sure exactly why. The floor boards have a truck bed type paint/spray liner (applied by the previous owner). Paint was done by the previous owner and has a few areas where it is beginning to chip and crack. The back side of the driver's seat has damage and is being covered by a piece of black carpet. I recently took the seat covers off and discovered the issue. Does not affect the use of the seat. Mechanically, the engine and transmission were recently rebuilt and the Jeep runs strong and sounds great. The engine is a 4.2 liter 258-ci straight 6. The transmission is the Tremec T-176 (according to Novak adapters it is able to easily handle a V-8). Upgrades include: Offenhauser 4-barrel intakeHolley Truck Avenger 470 4-barrel carb6-to-1 header with single exhaust. Bestop Soft top with zip-out windows and doors. The doors are both full and half. We hate to sell the Jeep, but we are just not using it anymore.
