1981 CHEVY SHORT BED FRAME OFFRESTORATION Up for auction is my 1981 Chevy short bed. The truck has been completely restored. I bought this truck about six months ago and never had any intentions on selling it. But unfortuantly money has become tight and I am forced to part with it. I bought this truck from a good friend who has been building this truck for the past nine years. I had always wanted to buy it but knew that I could never afford to get it from him after seeing him spend over 17000 on restoring it. This truck runs and drives better than a brand new one and can be driven anywhere with out hesitation and while enjoying nice cold A/C. ENGINE : 383 c.i. Stroker. Mild cam. Edelbrock intake intake, holley 650 cfm carb., 305 heads with 2.02 valves, full length headers, eagle crank, high pressure oil pump. This engine has less than 1500 miles on it. TRANSMISSION : Turbo 350 with B&M shift kit. Also less than 1500 miles on trany. REAR END : 373 ratio positive track with detroit lockers This truck has brand new silverline exhuast and also has brand new tires.
