This is a rare opportunity for both the Mercedes enthusiast and the professional baseball memorabilia collector. The Mercedes 300CE This vehicle features a strong 3.0 L L6 engine and is loaded with premium extras including a Momo Racing steering wheel, Eibach Springs suspension components, Dunlop P315 racing tires, premium wheels and more...interior options include a power sunroof, heated leather seats, telescopic steering and safety belt, a Sony single disc compact disc player, and power windows and door locks to name a few of the luxury items available in 1991. History & Overall Condition The current owner of this vehicle purchased the car during the peak of Griffey's career in the late 1990's and was an occasional driver that has been garaged kept and maintained, having just recently undergone a maintenance inspection as of late 2009 (garaged since). The interior of the vehicle is in very good condition, with no major defects, but does show some minor signs of wear, as the vehicle will need some TLC: the drivers side seat is showing typical signs of use that appear with leather seats over timethere are a few minor scuff marks on each of left and right speaker grills, located on the bottom panel of each doorthe tinting on the driver's side window does show signs of wear from the normal use of the windowthe premium sound system speakers that were once installed have been removed and the current speakers would need to be replaced at some time in the future Noting these exceptions, the interior is solid with no rips, holes, tears or stains - the leather seats and interior fabric show virtually no signs of fading and all interior buttons, knobs, and covers are in tact, have clear graphics and function properly. The exterior of the vehicle is also in good condition as it possess a deep, rich metallic green color; however there are a few exterior blemishes to note: minor scratch / scuff along fender and rear bumper (may be possible to buff out)the front grill area has a few minor marksthe most significant problem area is at the bottom of both the driver and passenger side door jams and the rear left side of the trunk as shown in the photos The car has been garaged and has not recently been driven, so I would recommend that the vehicle be towed to your location before driving for extended distances.Please note I reserve the right to end the auction early and without notice.
