1970 Chevelle SS, 396 Sports Coupe with New A/C - Malibu Clone I bought this car in June 2008 with 76,784 miles on it. I had it fixed up as a daily driver (see list below) and used it as my only car until December 2009 (it now has 79,940 miles on it) when I had a baby and had to buy a family car. I’m only selling it because I hardly ever get to drive it anymore and it’s just sitting in the garage, which makes me sad. It’s an awesome head-turner of a car and runs like a champ. The car is cranberry red with black racing stripe and black interior. It is a 3-speed automatic transmission and an 8 cylinder, 396 engine. I’ve only ever put premium fuel in it. Garage-kept. Here is a list of what I have had done to it (I have kept any and all original parts that have been replaced) - all work was done by Advanced Customs and Conversions in Pompano Beach, FL. front brakes converted to power disc-brakes replaced rear brake lines replaced rear brake shoes replaced one rear brake drum, resurfaced one rear brake drum replaced both rear wheel cylinders added a vacuum booster for brakes & adjustable proportioning valve for rear brakes new suspension overhaul kit: ball joints, bushings, tie-rod ends, tie rod sleeves and idler arm new front sway bar bushings 2 new front coil springs, 2 new rear coil springs new front shocks, new rear shocks front end alignment cleaned up wiring in engine bay cleaned up wiring under dash replaced windshield wiper motor new front and back tire locks installed 3-point retractable seat belts for the front seats new K & N air filter installed new A/C system: new condenser, new dryer, new blower, new compressor, new custom fit hoses, update kit for R12 to R134A freon, new ductwork to vents new flasher relay for directionals new ignition switch new AM/FM radio with CD player/auxiliary input I have $28,000 into this car.
