It is powered by the factory 390 c.i. engine and equipped with power steering, power brakes, and air conditioning. These cars are known as the "Bullet Birds." This example showcases quality paint and brightwork. The Thunderbird was offered in Coupe, Convertible, and this Landau Hardtop version. This car is also equipped with a white vinyl top. This stance is thanks to the American Racing Torque Thrust wheels wrapped in 215/55R17s. We have a complete set of 5 new wire wheels that are included with the car. Open the door to 1962. The interior is finished in its correct Turquoise. Also, this is the first Thunderbird I've seen in the factory color of Deep Sea Blue metallic. Its a beautiful shade of blue in my opinion. Under the hood is this detailed 390 c.i 4bbl. V8. The engine is dressed with chrome. The firewall, inner fenders, and core support are clean and detailed. The undercarriage displays solid flooring throughout. This has always been a dry climate T-Bird and it shows. The paint and body is beautiful. This is a very nice, dry climate driver you can enjoy now. This is a Dallas, Texas car. The interior features the classic Thunderbird decor in this aircraft inspired cockpit design. The classic tilt-away steering wheel makes for easy entrances and exits. The classic Thunderbird fins' days were numbered in 1962. The 64-66 "Jet Bird" styling was dramatically different, toned down with more squared edges, especially evident from the side views.
